Children’s Ministry
Jesus said, “Let the Little children come to me.” We understand the importance of training the children in the way that they should go, so we have developed an ever-expanding program for children in our church. Every Sunday morning we have Sunday Bible classes for all ages from 9am to 10am. After a fellowship time from 10am to 10:30am, the children (K-5th grade) join all of us for the first half of our worship time and then are invited to join the rest of the children for Children’s Church in the classroom next to the Worship Center while the adults and youth listen to the sermon.
On Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8pm, children from Kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to join our “Little Crashers” group. We have a Bible lesson by the pastor teaching sound morals, crafts, music and games that the children will enjoy while they are learning. There is no charge for any of these activities (donations may be made to the offering of the church). We also try to plan a fun activity each month (movie nights, bowling, beach, etc.) for the children to invite friends to that may or may not have a small cost. For one week a year in the summer, we have a week long morning activity we call Vacation Bible School (VBS) that has proved to be enormously popular with more than 100 kids attending each year.
